Caterpillar AC Building

LZT Associates has been actively completing the conversion of a 1,100,000 SF, abandoned engine high bay manufacturing plant into high-tech office space. The various project phases have been completed over a 10-year period as a long range vision for getting scattered business groups consolidated under a single roof in order to improve communication and efficiency.
Design included truck docks for shipping and receiving; raised floor open offices with specialty labs for design and testing of electrical components; multiple power systems for general, instrumentation, computers and maintenance, modular concept with conference, toilet and electric room modules. Project included planning, design, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.

Dining Facilites
The dining space consists of various seating arrangements specifically designed to avoid the cafeteria style image. The executive dining room is set-up to allow various styles of dining and is equipped for high-tech presentations.
Designed to enhance the already established office spaces in Building AC, the Kiosk area adds a foods services area to the meet the needs of the workforce. The area includes a small kitchen, snack/servery area, Blanch Choices vending Kiosk, seating areas and condiment bar.
