Lovelace Hall, a former 34,000 sq. ft. dormitory, has more than doubled in size to provide the College of Business Administration a new home. Business and Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, and Marketing, along with related specialized programs, are located in the renovated existing 5-story building and new 5-story addition.
The new 120 seat auditorium has tiered, fixed seating and a dedicated projection room that features full A/V and computer capabilities. Two additional auditoriums are ideal for instructional purposes.
The new addition is easily transformed into an Executive Conference Center. An 1,300 sq. ft. conference room completes the arrangement with a dedicated projection room, flexible seating arrangements, full A/V capabilities, an integral lounge, and catering kitchen.
Professors can use the computer as a teaching tool, or teach students how to use the computer in most of the building's classrooms. There are two 20-station computer instruction rooms with shared projection rooms for A/V or computer projects, enhanced with diminished parabolic lighting, LAN capabilities and access to Open Computer Lab. Eight more classrooms have 40 stations for students.
Management and related classes often require a high degree of visual contact and interaction between participants - consequently, four classrooms have been designed with a tiered "U" plan seating. |
