Addition to the original 128,000 SF 1985 jail (designed by LZT/Hackler, a joint venture); Addition includes new vehicle sallyport, intake/booking (2 detox holding cells, 2 padded restraint cells, 4 individual holding cells, 2 multiple occupancy male holding rooms, 1 multiple occupancy female holding room), classification housing unit (24 cells), intake/pre-trial release unit, special management housing unit (50 cells), medical unit (4 medical cells, 2 isolation cells), segregation housing unit (10 cells with integral showers), evidence unit and relocation of the crime laboratory unit. Multiphase project. Included approximately 45,000 gsf new construction and approximately 8,000 gsf renovation within the existing jail. |
