The Prairie Vista Golf Course is bounded on two sides by panoramic views that include agricultural land and residential development. The clubhouse takes advantage of those vistas, bringing golfers in from the north, moving them through the clubhouse and onto the course to the south. The structure sits prominently at the highest point on the course, and comfortably with its neighbors.
The clubhouse interior is designed to direct golfers to a single control point inside, and then out to the course. Key points on the course are clearly visible from the clubhouse desk, reducing the need for staff.
Golfers can relax before or after their round, taking advantage of the panoramic views afforded them by the clubhouse. The snack bar provides a 180-degree view of the course, taking in both the first tee and the 18th green. On the exterior terrace, golfers can enjoy a repast and the "vistas" of this course on the prairie. |
