Educational facilities must provide an adequate mix of environments... a proper balance of exciting and quiet: of restful and stimulating spaces... to accommodate a wide range of subject matter, teaching methods and individual learning capacities. There are many educational philosophies. Our task as architects is to capture the essence of our client's educational philosophy and translate this into architecture that reflects these ideals and involves learners in an environment that encourages them to grow, in body and mind, to their maximum potential.
