This new, 59,000 SF clinic was designed to include 72 exam rooms for 22 physicians and 100 staff members. Muted colors, mission furniture and prairie-style architecture all contribute to a calm, comfortable atmosphere. Waiting rooms feature flat-screen TVs, public-access computers and wireless internet. New information-management technologies include automated patient check-in, wireless charting and automated prescription delivery. Midwest Construction’s Best of 2008 Award.

We are providing full A/E design services for this major addition and renovation. This 50,000 SF project which is being staged in 5 phases includes the Emergency Department, Outpatient Surgery, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Central Supply, a major mechanical and electrical upgrade, 400-car parking facility, new three-bay ambulance garage, site upgrades and a renovation for MRI equipment.

We provided full A/E and interior design services for RCH’s first expansion in more than 30 years. Project included an expanded surgical department with two new operating rooms; a new, seven-bed outpatient surgery department; a 3,000 SF addition to the emergency room and the reception area; a new, 2,300 SF ICU; a 3,400 SF addition to the imaging department with new CT and MRI exam rooms; and a new rooftop helipad.

Since 1965, we have served as the architect/engineer for Rockford Health System and Rockford Memorial Hospital on over 125 projects. We recently designed a 12,282 SF renovation to the Emergency Department that included the reception area, 2 triage rooms, 2 trauma rooms and creation of 24 exam rooms. Other projects include the 113,200 SF, 4-story D-Wing addition, and a 12,000 SF Women’s Center renovation project.

We provided A/E design services for a 15,200 SF addition to the Emergency Department, and a 4,200 SF renovation of existing space. We also delivered A/E design services to create a 7,000 SF space that included three new Operating Rooms and supporting facilities. The projects required new air handlers connected to the central plant, plus hot water and chilled water.

We provided architectural design services for this outpatient clinic focused on treatment of chronic wounds. The clinic includes a nurses’ station; clean and soiled utility room; and staff administration areas. Evaluation and treatment of patients takes place in six treatment rooms. The center provides patients with hyperbaric treatments, which take place in two state-of-the art hyperbaric chambers that provide a pressurized, oxygen-rich environment that promotes wound healing.

We provided full A/E services for an interior build-out of a replacement cardiac catheterization lab on the second floor of this new three story addition. We remodeled portions of the existing cardiac cath lab area and existing hospital space. The space which is located on the North side of the "E" wing includes approximately 4,000 SF and houses a new cath lab, control station, nurse station, patient toilets, and six intake/recovery bays.

We created an expansion strategy, which included community gathering spaces and expanded treatment areas. The 5,000 SF renovation and the 10,000 SF expansion includes a new linear accelerator, exam rooms, a space for a medical oncology practice, and improved employee work areas. Our design responds to the neighborhood’s quiet, residential quality while providing a welcoming and nurturing space to patients.

This 8,400 SF facility is an integral part of revitalization plans for downtown Rockford. InnovaMed specializes in internal medicine, plus non-surgical aesthetic services and treatment of varicose veins. We collaborated with the physicians and the Design-Build general contractor for a successful architectural and interior design. A soothing, spa-like environment provides a calming, welcoming and healing experience for the patients, and also enhances the work environment for the staff.

Our Peoria office designed this 14,000 SF professional medical office building. The facility houses two medical practices, including urgent care, and two related medical offices.
